They’ve been together for 10 years, were high school sweethearts, king and queen of the prom, went to college together… the whole nine yards.
She then floored me when she said they were “sneaking around” and she had to be careful so people didn’t find out she was spending nights at his apartment. Hang on, they’ve been sneaking around for 10 years?
I asked her why they weren’t living together and she asked, with a shocked look on her face, “What would people say?”
