I’ve always been one of those “Valentine’s Day only exists to prop up the greeting card industry” people. I mean, if you love someone, you shouldn’t need a special day to show it. You should be able to show it all year long.
Sort of like how the holiday season is supposed to inspire us to be kinder to others… that’s something you should be able to do year around.
Of course, if I really believe that, then why am I so depressed that I don’t have someone to spend Valentine’s Day with?
